Embarrassed In Cincinnati

WTF.

That was a tough pill to swallow. Manny Parra went from pitching 5 solid innings giving up no-runs and only a hit....to jamming the bases loaded and giving up 6 runs in the fifth inning. Hell, he gave up a double to the pitcher that triggered the melay.

To make matters worse, Prince Fielder went after someone who was half his size. Parra was bum rushed by Prince Fielder after being pulled for a pinch hitter. The two exchanged words and apparently Prince didn't like the idea that Parra was going to the clubhouse early.

I can understand Prince's argument...but that's just it, it should've been left as an argument. Instead he aired the dirty laundry for all to see.

On Baseball Tonight, Kruk was saying how this will ignite the team and bring them closer...of course, it could also have the division effect. The Brewers are too young, especially Parra and Fielder, to hold a grudge. My thoughts are that they already hugged it out and are watching it on Sports Center as we speak.

Parra (9-5 now) gave up 4 hits and 6 runs, striking out 6. Bronson Arroyo (10-8) looked pretty damn good. Milwaukee, again, looked helpless when runners were in scoring condition. As usual, Parra metled after 85 or so pitches (105 total).

-Ryan Braun nailed his 30th HR of the year. He also added a double.

-Mike Cameron hit his 17th HR of the year. Perhaps we may see SOME consistantcy.

-Rightfield Bleachers mentioned this story on Erin Andrews. Apparently the ESPN "journalist" likes to get touchy-feely with the ball players, Brewers included. I personally feel that ESPN hires sideline "reporters" based on looks more than skill. Too bad. She will probably pose.
